By now we are well aware of the evils of mono-trans-saturated-hydrogonated fats, but I can’t be good all the time.
1. Cheez-Its
Our family holidays are not complete without a box of Cheez-Its in hand while opening gifts, playing washers or dealing cards. We fight over the burnt ones.
2. Little Debbie Swiss Cake rolls
These must be eaten frozen, there’s no other way.
3. Fritos Flavor Twists in honey BBQ
Mmmhmm.
4. Entenmann’s chocolate covered donuts
Little crack rings, drenched in chocolate coating or powdered sugar.
5. Diet Coke
I know this is next to drinking poison, but I cannot resist the urge for a cold Diet Coke with ice when eating pizza or popcorn. So sue me.
6. Pop-Tarts
These are candy bars disguised as breakfast pastries. It still doesn’t stop me from eating a Brown Sugar Cinnamon or Frosted Strawberry, warm or straight out of the box.
7. Cheetos
I really have to look past the neon orange residue but I summon my inner Britney Spears and manage to do so.
8. Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup
After learning about mechanically separated chicken, I’ve stopped eating this soup. Before my enlightenment, I would reach for a can every time I started feeling under the weather.
9. Drumsticks ice cream cones
Only a mere 16 grams of fat and 290 calories worth every bite.
10. Pilsbury chocolate chip cookie dough
I may or may not have purchased this cookie dough and eaten it raw, straight out of the package a time or two in college…
