A couple months ago, I had a Britney moment and lost all sense of self to win an Eat Jackson contest. (No, I didn’t shave my head. I’m not that uninhibited.)
The pleading paid off and I won a gift card to Walker’s Drive In. Booyah.
So, to continue the good energy…
Because I appreciate every single person who reads Gidget Eats…
Because free + food tend to cause excitement…
And, because it’s Friday…I’m going to host my very first blog giveaway!
The Prize
One lucky winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to Foodzie. Foodzie is an online marketplace featuring items from small food producers. The products range from kimchi to popcorn to truffles. (Check out this Matcha Green Tea Assortment, swoon!)
How to Enter
To enter the giveaway, leave a comment on this post below and answer this question:
What’s one of your guilty pleasures (food-related)?
Currently mine are Reese’s Peanut Butter Easter Eggs, jalapeno potato chips and M&Ms, to name a few.
The Fine Print
I will accept one comment/entry, per person. The giveaway ends at midnight, central time Tuesday, April 5. One winner will be selected at random and announced Wednesday, April 6. This giveaway is sponsored by Gidget Eats. Rule breakers risk being beaten with a wet spaghetti noodle.

My current guilty pleasure is Cadbury creme eggs, luckily I can only buy them at Easter!
Posted by thepricklypinecone | April 5, 2011, 6:42 pmCaramel cake from Primo’s or Beagle Bagel. Yum!
Posted by Megan | April 5, 2011, 6:25 pmMcDonald’s double cheeseburger and fries washed down with a Hi-C Orange lavaburst. Also, circus peanuts (the candy, not peanuts from the circus.) I am not only guilty because they are bad for me, but also because they are so “un-foodie”.
Posted by Josh | April 5, 2011, 8:39 amI gotta go with chili cheese fries:)
Posted by Matt | April 4, 2011, 2:49 pmMillionaire$ big bite egg, Chai Latte, Bops large Vanilla Malt
Posted by Leigh | April 4, 2011, 11:19 amGosh! I love anything with chocolate.
Lately, I’ve been eating triple chunk brownies, and it’s showing in my thighs. Too bad that’s not an incentive to quit eating them!
Posted by India | April 4, 2011, 10:35 amhmmmm…there are so many, how does one choose…could it be Italian cream cake from Primo’s or perhaps french fries from Five Guys…maybe that scrum-dilly-icious gelato from the Fresh Market…no, wait, it’s definitely Cadbury’s Mini Eggs…no, no, no…I’ve got it – TWO slices of piping-hot cheese pizza from Sal & Mookies. Nevermind, I don’t know why I didn’t think of this to begin with. I feel most guilty when I’ve eaten an entire baguette – in one sitting – no butter, no EVOO, nothing, just crusty, chewy, yummy bread. Pure unadulterated carbohydrate guilt. My mouth is watering just thinking about it =)
Posted by jen | April 3, 2011, 8:16 pmAnything Sweet!!! I could skip dinner and just eat dessert!!! I had fun this weekend!!
Posted by Margie | April 3, 2011, 6:45 pmAlmond Roca. I absolutely cannot stop myself from eating them. In family we call that a “more-ish taste”…you always want more. Seriously. I hurt myself on these things.
Posted by Rebecca Stafford | April 3, 2011, 5:08 pmMy guilty pleasure food is ice cream…. chocolate ice cream.

Posted by Ashley | April 1, 2011, 1:40 pmFun!! I adore sweets. When I want to indulge I go to Anchuca Cafe in Vicksburg. Their desserts are always homemade. The Bonzo Cake is divine!
Posted by Lisa Blair | April 1, 2011, 1:36 pmI love bread pudding 7 ways to Sunday!
Thanks for the shout out for us! We don’t need to win – just wanted to say thanks! Keep it up!

Posted by thomas | April 1, 2011, 12:54 pmDefinitely Brownies……A hot, chewy brownie with a cold glass of milk is pretty much the best thing ever.
I’ll make sure to be good, just so I don’t get beaten with a wet spaghetti noodle
