I Dream of Frozen Yogurt

Frozen yogurt is the object of my latest obsession.

It began over Labor Day weekend while I was at home in Kansas City.

After a failed flight departure Tuesday, there was no way I was getting back to Jackson that day due to a debacle involving the latest hurricane in Texas. For two and a half hours I stewed about the downfalls of air travel, while waiting for my mom to retrieve me. She managed to appease my woes with frozen yogurt.

We stopped at a Peachwave and the addiction began. All the flavors, all the toppings, I was sucked in with the creamy goodness.

The nutritional facts about frozen yogurt are somewhat debatable, but I don’t care, I love it!

Since returning to Jackson, the cravings have grown out of control and all I can think about is frozen yogurt. Hastily searching for any nearby yogurt dealers, I have found four contenders.

1. Sweet Cece’s Frozen Yogurt and Treats
2. Sweet Tree Yogurt
3. We Love Yogurt
4. Berry Berry Good Frozen Yogurt

Yesterday Ben and I managed to slip in a yogurt stop between a car wash and running errands. We were headed for Sweet Cece’s, but it’s not where I thought it was, and ended up at Berry Berry Good instead. It was delicious! My cravings were momentarily satisfied, but I’ll have to try Sweet Cece’s another day.

Once during the weekend was not enough and today I woke up thinking about yogurt again. The closest store is We Love Yogurt, but there was no answer when I called. Assuming they were closed, I was planning on hitting up Sweet Tree after helping to host a baby shower in that direction. Sadly, I found out the hard way that Sweet Tree is closed on Sundays.

If anyone else knows of other frozen yogurt shops located in the central Jackson area, please give me a heads up. If you want to open a store, I promise to be a faithful and loyal customer.

They are located off of I-55 in a shopping strip, and may also have a good lunch salad bar
